I now have a writing blog, for the following reasons:
a) I’m now in design school, and I have less and less time to search for pictures to post here. Words > pictures when it comes to attaining emotional catharsis.
b) I am secretly a whiny person, and since I won’t actually whine in person to someone else, I like to whine online. Sometimes I dine online too. I have my dinner while scrolling through sites like the NY Times, The Guardian, and .. I Can Haz Cheeseburger.
c) It’s an outlet for the wordy me. Pictures speak a thousand words, sure; sometimes, though, I can write things better than I feel them (ten points if you spotted the FOB reference. I don’t care if they’re not avante garde, they were (and still are) kind of awesome.)
d) I NEVER REALLY LEFT YOU IN MY HEART, TUMBLR.
